Available in two configurations Tennant’s 6500/6550 power sweepers are designed for continuous work in really tough applications. Use them to remove everything from fine dust and powders to bulky debris, indoors and out.
Built on a rugged T-beam frame a massive wrap-around bumper, the 6500 ride on sweeper features a two speed direct-throw main brush, a side brush, a Duramer multi-level-dump hopper, a working noise level of only 80 dBa and the revolutionary Tennant VCS filter shaking system.

Designed to be safe, comfortable and easy to use and maintain, the 6500 ride on sweeper represents oustanding price/performance value. The Tennant 6550 ride on sweper further enhances the concept with the addition of even more constructional strength for extreme conditions and features an overhead guard to protect the operator, an audio-visual reversing alarm, steel hopper and a choice of four power units. Both models can be customised for specific operations from a range of accessories that include an extendable side brush arm, and an enclosed cabin.
Built to perform
Utilising a 156 cm cleaning path, the 6500/6550 ride on sweeper sweeps at an average rate of 11,350 square metres per hour. Removing dust, paper, cans and bottles, wood, rocks and even broken bricks, it stores the collected debris in a 400 litre (535 kg) multi-level dump hopper.
Dust under control
The patented VCS system automatically cleans the dust filter during operation, maximises operational dust control, extends filter life and provides for long run times between filter changes.
Power to match the application
The 6500/6550 ride on sweeper can be customised to suit any working environment. Both machines are available with a petrol, LPG, or diesel power unit. The 6550 ride on sweeper is also available with a battery powered motor, (6550 E) featuring fume-free operation and a noise level of only 75dBa.

FUNCTION/DESIGN
Our vacuumated sweepers have a cylindrical brush which rotates at speed throwing the dirt and debris into a waste hopper bin. An efficient filtration system means that all the dust is contained within the machine. Having one or two side brushes on the sweepers, enables close to edge cleaning, e.g. along curbs, steps, racking, shelving and walls. Using a sweeping machine means no dust is thrown up into the air and therefore makes it far more efficient than traditional manual methods of sweeping using a broom.
USAGE AREA
A sweeper is suitable for both internal and external use on most floor surfaces, such as terrazzo, plastic ceramic, tiles, concrete, non-slip surfaces, thermoplastic, linoleum, rubber, painted floor surfaces, marble, wood floors, tarmac, paving stones, brick paved floors, large areas of laminate flooring, sports flooring.
Sweepers are perfect for use on warehouse floors, sports halls, hallways, car showrooms, factories, gyms, shopping centres, garages, garage forecourts, yards, car parks, driveways, patios, superstores, tennis courts, airport terminals, exhibition centres, arenas, internal football pitches, volleyball courts, netball courts, basketball courts, haulage companies, distribution depots, manufacturing sites, multi storey car parks, markets, market halls, community centres etc.
